Local Electrical Apprenticeship Program Now 1 of 15 ISPQ Accredited Training Programs in North America

Washington, DC JATC awarded accreditation based on its photo-voltaic training.

LANHAM, MD— JULY 21, 2010— The Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC) has awarded the Joint Apprenticeship Training Program (JATC) ISPQ Accredited Training ProgramTM status. 115 New Electricians in DC Region

Local JATC graduates 120 from its apprenticeship and telecommunication programs

GREENBELT, MD— JUNE 22, 2010—On June 5, 2010 the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area added 115 new highly qualified journeyman electricians and five telecommunication technicians. They graduated from the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee’s (JATC) electrical apprenticeship and telecommunication programs. The JATC is sponsored jointly by Local Union 26 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and the Washington, D.C. Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).

Merical Lights Up Georgetown School of Business

Alliance contractor installs state-of-the-art systems in the LEED Silver certified building.  

LANHAM, MD-April 28, 2010- Students attending class in Georgetown University's new Rafik B. Hariri building will notice the stunning results of the two-year construction project. Merical Electrical Contractors installed all of the electrical systems in the recently LEED Silver certified building.
