Washington Building Congress Honors Electrical Alliance Members with 20 Craftsmanship Awards

Union electrical contractors win almost every award for lighting systems, power distribution and other special systems from prestigious annual competition.

LANHAM, MD- January 25, 2010- Washington, DC building owners who hired Electrical Alliance contractors this year can be proud of the electrical systems at their facilities. Electrical Alliance contractors won 20 of the Washington Building Congress's annual Craftsmanship Awards out of 22  awards in the electrical category.

J.E. Richards installs high-tech lighting management system to conserve energy at new USGBC headquarters

WASHINGTON, DC- October 29, 2009 - The United States Green Building Council (USGBC) raised the bar for energy savings thanks in part to the lighting system at its new headquarters. Electrical Alliance contractor J.E. Richards Electrical spent four months installing a Convia lighting control system at the DC headquarters.
